Today we ask consider whether the Anne Frank Trust’s is right to object to Annexed; a fictional work by Sharon Dongar, which makes use of the characters of Anne Frank and Peter van Pels. Told as a series of diary entries and thoughts from Peter, Annexed is an interpretation of the time he spent with the Franks, his discovery and subsequent time in a concentration camp.
These days, there are hundreds of thousands of people publishing their written work in some form or another.
