Birds of America, by John James Audubon, is the world’s most expensive book and, come December, a copy is to be auctioned at the London Auction House, alongside a First Folio from 1623! The online retail industry is booming. Already worth over £14 billion and growing at a rate of over 12% every year, the industry is led by the huge markets for of clothes and electronics, though this doesn’t necessarily accurately reflect sales. After all, a single TV can sell for £1000, whereas used books frequently sell for pence – even for free if the buyer pays for post and package!

There are many advantages to selling books online, be they books you’ve written yourself, a personal collection you’re looking to sell on, or stock you want to sell for a profit.
